GIANNA
Gianna Jones is a 21-year old singer-songwriter from Philadelphia. She is a junior in the Rowan Music Industry program, with a concentration in Music Technology. Within the past year, she has released two singles: ‘Losin’ Control’ and ‘Risky.’ Gianna takes inspiration from R&B artists such as Aaliyah, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, and TLC. RMG is thrilled to welcome Gianna, who writes all of her own music and seeks to bring back the 2000s R&B sound. KIAURA ROSE
Kiaura Rose is a 21 year old singer-songwriter from New Jersey. Known for her indie rock sound that delves into the world of anti pop, she is a proud member of the basement show scene of New Jersey and Philly. Likewise, Rose is a Rowan University alumni, and frequents Rowan Alt shows. Kiaura Rose’s lyrics are an honest depiction of her views on love, life, and everything in between. Currently, she has three singles out on streaming platforms: ‘Miles Per Hour,’ ‘Dial Tone,’ and ‘HOW 2 FEEL.’ With over 4,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, we are excited to see what Kiaura will bring to RMG.
POLAROID FADE
Polaroid Fade was born during the spring of 2020 during the Covid lockdown. Nicoletta Giuliani would spend her evenings learning guitar and writing simple songs, which would turn into demos, and eventually form a band to play these songs live. With many successful shows under their belt, the band keeps a crowd's attention with their short and sweet songs and singable choruses. Their sound emulates bands like The Smiths, The Sundays, and The Cure. Touching on young love, beach towns and not being afraid to get in a little trouble, this dream pop outfit crafts dance floor friendly songs with a splash of humor and wit at times sure enough to please even the pickiest indie crowds.
